“Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK) returns
Charo Santos-Concio took to Instagram as she gave a message on the return of ABS-CBN’s long-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK).
On Saturday, MMK resumed airing on TV since it ceased to premiere brand new episodes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, Charo Santos grabbed the opportunity to thank avid viewers of the show.
MMK returns with a story featuring the life of Dr. Israel Bactol (played by Arjo Atayde), a young cardiologist who passed away due to COVID-19.
In the two-part series which will continue this coming Saturday, November 5, joining him is his mom Sylvia Sanchez, who recently recovered from the dreaded disease.
Aside from Arjo Atayde, Jane de Leon, Hero Angeles, and Aldrin Angeles also join him on the episode directed by Dado C. Lumibao and written by Arah Jell Badayos and Mary Rose Colindres.
ABS-CBN’s long-running drama anthology airs on Kapamilya Online Live, Kapamilya Channel and A2Z Channel 11.
