Typhoon Ulysses left massive devastation in the country flooding rice fields and destroying banana farms in Quezon.

Recently, a certain Angel Movido took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she shared some snaps of the aftermath of Ulysses.

Rice fields were flooded and banana farms were destroyed in General Nakar, Quezon after Typhoon Ulysses ravaged the country yesterday, November 12.

Meanwhile, Ulysses left at least 23 people dead with 16 missing.

Due to the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses, classes are still suspended in various parts of the country particularly in Metro Manila.

Several domestic and international flights were also canceled.

On the other hand, Marikina City, among the worst-hit locality, has been placed under a state of calamity due to massive floods.

“I have declared a state of calamity for the City of Marikina para magkaroon ng pagkakataon ang ating pamahalaan na epektibong makatugon sa mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan dito sa lungsod,” Mayor Marcy Teodoro said.
