Sony announced the PlayStation 5 launch date in the Philippines
Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore had officially announced the PlayStation 5 (PS5) launch date in the Philippines.
This, as Sony announced that the PlayStation 5 was set to launch in the Philippines on December 11, 2020.
In a report on Manila Bulletin, the console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be available for the price of PHP 27,990.
However, Sony didn’t reveal the price and availability of the Digital Edition of the console in the Philippines.
Previously, Sony released a video wherein Yasuhiro Ootori – Sony’s Vice President of Mechanical Design Department – showed the internals of the console and identified the specifications of PlayStation 5 as well.

Aside from this, Sony announced the official price for accessory and games which will be launch along with the console.
For the accessories, Sony was expected to launch its DualSense Wireless Controller (PHP 3,990), DualSense Charging Station (PHP 1,690), PULSE 3D wireless headset (PHP 5,590), and HD Camera for gamers (PHP 3,290).
For games, SIE Worldwide Studios was expected to release Astro’s Playroom (pre-installed on console), Demon’s Souls (PHP 3,490), Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PHP 2,490), Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (PHP 3,490), and Sackboy A Big Adventure (PHP 2,990) during the launch day.
