Senator Manny Pacquiao wanted their children to experience their hardships in life and wanted them to be compassionate and helpful to others.
In a report on GMA Entertainment, Manny said that he and his wiife Jinkee really intended to teach their children about their previous hardships in life.
“Tinuturuan namin sila ng mga gawaing bahay, yung mga ginagawa ng mga naghihirap na tao. Actually, dinala nga namin sila sa GenSan para mag-aral. Doon sila nakapag-aral ng dalawang taon para ma-experience nila yung buhay ng mahihirap. Doon sila nag-aaral sa walang aircon na school for two years,” Manny said.

Manny also said that he really wanted for his children to experience them and they would realize that life wasn’t just pure pleasure, adding that he wanted them to realize what he and his wife went through.
He also shared that the quarantine period gave him an opportunity to spend quality time with his family.
According to him, it happened well because their lack of time with their children and their children’s lack of time with them was too much because everything had been filled.
“Ang relationship namin, talagang malapit na. Lalo pang gumanda yung relationship namin,” Manny said.
