In a report on GMA Entertainment, Manny revealed that his second son Michael was hurt by negative comments.

Michael recently became a target of criticisms after releasing his debut hip-hop album “Dreams”. In his song titled “Pac-Man,” one of 11 tracks in his album, Michael went viral due to his superb rap skills.

However, as much as he’s praised for his work, he’s also criticized for getting much attention because he was a celebrity son.

Manny then taught Michael to understand his bashers instead of responding to negative comments.

Hindi lahat ng nasa social media magsu-support sa ‘yo, pupuri sa ‘yo, may mga basher din,” Manny said.

Manny also shared his experience about having bashers, saying that he drew inspiration from his bashers instead of getting mad at them as he wanted to show himself that he’s not like that.

Michael seemed to have listened to his father.

When asked about his bashers, Michael said in his previous interview on GMA Network’s “24 Oras” that he understood it and it’s part of his career in the music industry.

It’s part of the journey na you can’t please everyone. Not everyone will like your stuff,” Michael said.
