Jake Cuenca Responds To Question If He’s Kapamilya or Kapatid Now?

Netizen Asks Jake Cuenca Over His Home Network Now – Kapatid or Kapamilya?

JAKE CUENCA – The Los Bastardos actor was asked if he is still a Kapamilya now or already a Kapatid.

The ABS-CBN channel is not yet back after the network went off-air in the first quarter of 2020. The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) released a Cease and Desist Order against the network over its expired franchise.

More than 10 hearings were held in the House of Representatives to discuss the issues against the network. Last July 10, the members of the House Franchise Committee decided on the bid of a fresh 25-year franchise for the Kapamilya network.

Seventy (70) members of the committee voted to deny ABS-CBN of a fresh 25-year franchise. Only 11 voted on the side favoring the network thus it failed to obtain a new franchise to operate.

The denial of the franchise bid of ABS-CBN was followed by massive employee retrenchments. A lot of stars also accepted offers from other networks while some transferred to another home network.
