Edgar gave some update about John Lloyd’s imminent return to television through veteran entertainment writer Baby K. Jimenez.

Jimenez is based in Canada but he is updated on what is happening in the Philippine entertainment industry.

On Tuesday, November 24 (November 23 in Canada), Jimenez excitedly announced the “scoop” he received from Edgar.

Jimenez found out that Edgar was talking to John Lloyd when he texted the latter.

In a Facebook post, Jimenez wrote: “11:55 pm, Nov 23: SCOOP! I just thought about texting Direk Bobot (EDGAR MORTIZ) for a short chat on what’s the latest about him….”

“And as I did, he texted back: ‘Baby K! I am here with Lloydie (John Lloyd) – we have a meeting!!!’

Jimenez also mentioned in his Facebook post that Edgar will direct John Lloyd’s “new show”.

Edgar on the other hand told Jimenez, “NAKU, PINAG-UUSAPAN PA LANG.”

John Lloyd’s last television show before he took a break from acting in October 2017 was via ABS-CBN’s Home Sweetie Home, directed by Edgar Mortiz.
