Will John Lloyd Cruz finally returns on TV?
Actor John Lloyd Cruz was recently spotted at the office of Brightlight Production.
Although it is still not clear, rumors are spreading that the 37-year-old star might appear in one of its blocktimer shows on TV5.
He’s alleged to be working with former ABS-CBN director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz.
However, John Lloyd Cruz is yet to issue any official statement about it.

Meanwhile, some of the big names on Kapamilya Network such as Piolo Pascual, Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, K Brosas, Catriona Gray and to name a few appear on TV5 via blocktimer shows of Brightlight Production.
Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, K Brosas and Wacky Kiray stars in the program “Laugh Out Loud” directed by Star Magic Head Johnny Manahan.
Korina Sanchez-Roxas returns to free TV in the new version of Rated Korina back to back with Ian Veneracion’s new sitcom starring Dimples Romana titled “Oh My Dad”.
Piolo Pascual and Catriona Gray host a Sunday variety show on Kapatid Network.
Beauty Gonzales, Yen Santos, and RK Bagatsing star in the series, “I Got You.”
Such programs are only blocktimer on TV5 courtesy of Brightlight Production, which is an independent company that aims to provide programs that reflect the life of every Filipino.
Brightlight Production, which reportedly owned by politician-businessman Albee Benitez, has recently made a Multi-Billion Blocktimer Deal with TV5 to strengthen its Entertainment and Media Company.
Kapamilya stars featured in the said programs will remain as contract artists of ABS-CBN.
