Basher to Catriona Gray: “Why are you in Colombia instead of helping your own province”
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray reacted to a basher questioning her trip to Colombia amid Typhoon Ulysses.
Recently, the beauty queen took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she shared a glimpse of her trip to Colombia.
While the post generates reactions from the netizens, a basher questioned her.
“Cat, why are you in Colombia instead of helping your own province deal with the typhoon? I have always been a fan but especially with traveling during a pandemic? What example does taking this job send to everyone?” the basher asked.
Catrina Gray on the other hand couldn’t help but replied: “This invitation was extended months ago and even though I’m away, I’ve been doing my part in working with @philredcross since the day of the typhoon to provide aid and relief to the affected areas. ♥️ Thanks for your concern.”
Several netizens then came to defend the Miss Universe 2018.
A netizen said: “Pinagsasabi mo? Siya ba magpapatigil ng bagyo? Presidente ba siya ng bansa? Wag kang pa-woke. May masabi ka lang talaga eh noh. Kuda nang kuda. Ambassadress siya ng @smiletrainph ikaw ano ka!? Troll!”
“Judgemental, atleast check her activities before dropping your dumb opinion here. She’s doing her part helping in the country,” another netizen noted.
