The heartwarming photos of Cagayan residents lifting placards with words written “Maraming Salamat” to thank the donors gone viral.

Typhoon Ulysses severely affects several parts of country leaving devastation to the houses and possessions of some of our countrymen. It also triggers severe flooding over parts of Luzon particularly in Marikina City, Isabela and Cagayan.

A Facebook user named Adriann Lopez Gannaban has shared the photos of some residents in Cagayan lifting placards with words “Maraming Salamat”. The photos earned praises and admiration from the netizens.

Gannaban together with his colleagues endured the hot weather and long travel just to give foods for the flood victims in Cagayan. They are distributing hot foods to fill the empty stomach of the flood-affected residents.

During the food distribution, some of the residents have expressed their gratefulness towards Gannaban and his colleagues for conducting a feeding program in the area. The simple gesture of the residents brought tears to the eyes of the donors.

And despite the hot weather, long travel and simple act of giving hot food in their area, this words means very much to us. Seeing your smiles even through the difficulties that you have gone through the pass few days, brought tears to our eyes and warmth to our hearts.
