Former child star Zaijian Jaranilla is currently gearing up for his upcoming Star Cinema project, Boyette (Not A Girl Yet).
In the said movie, Zaijian Jaranilla will portray the role of Boyette, a “beki,” that will surely make the viewers smile.
According to Zaijian, he did not hesitate to accept the role because of the good story of the movie which is written and directed by Jumbo Albano.
“Nung na-pitch po sa akin ni direk Jumbo po ‘yung movie, sobrang interesting po kasi gusto ko rin po maalis ‘yung image ko dati na Santino na kinapitan ng tao, gusto rin makita nila na kaya ko rin gumawa ng ibang role,” he said.

Zaijian Jaranilla said that as an actor, it was a challenge for him to play a character far from his true personality.
“Gusto ko rin po siyempre na i-challenge ang sarili ko and I’m so happy po na nabigyan po ako ng ganitong opportunity. Sa tulong po ni direk Jumbo, nakagawa po kami ng isang napakaganda at solid na pelikula,” he noted.
