TJ Monterde, KZ Tandingan Wedding Held Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
TJ MONTERDE – The singer reacted to his wife, KZ Tandingan, not wearing a bridal gown during their wedding day.
Recently, a lot of people were surprised when wedding photos of TJ and KZ crossed the surface. It was already more than a month ago when the celebrity couple officially tied the knot.
TJ and KZ were initially hesitant to push through with their wedding. It was last December 2019 when they got engaged and they started with the planning but the COVID-19 pandemic posed a huge challenge.
Meanwhile, with the encouragement and blessings of their parents, TJ and KZ were able to push through with their wedding. It was held at The Farm at San Benito in Lipa, Batangas.
Only a few of the closest friends of TJ and KZ were personally present at their wedding. Their families who are in Mindanao attended their big day virtually.
Aside from the unique set-up that their families can only attend their wedding virtually, the bride also had a unique outfit. Instead of a wedding gown, KZ wore a white pantsuit designed by LightShineWhite.

Based on a report on Pep, TJ Monterde admitted that he and KZ Tandingan found out that some people had other wishes for her outfit on their wedding. Meanwhile, for him, he would choose where she is comfortable and happy over a gown.
“Kita ko sa mata niya na sobrang comfortable siya sa suot niya noong day na iyon. Hindi siya nahirapan. Sobrang saya lang. I’d choose her smile on that day over a beautiful gown,” TJ said.
Based on the report, TJ also went further to advise couples to prioritize what can really make them happy on their special day. He stressed that the bride and the groom are the two most important people on that day.
