Why KZ Tandingan Did Not Wear Gown on Wedding Day
KZ TANDINGAN – The stylist of KZ, Myrrh Lao To, revealed why the Kapamilya singer did not wear a wedding gown.
Recently, TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan revealed that they have officially tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony that gathered only a few people.
It was last December 2019 when TJ asked for the hand of KZ to marriage – to which the singer gladly answered yes. They started with the planning but the COVID-19 pandemic took its turn beginning 2020.
KZ and TJ were initially hesitant to push through their wedding amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Social gatherings are prohibited and their families may not be able to fly to Manila to personally witness their wedding.
Meanwhile, TJ and KZ got very supportive and loving parents who encouraged them to push through their wedding. More than a month ago, the celebrity couple officially tied the knot at The Farm in San Benito in Lipa, Batangas.

Instead of wearing a wedding gown, KZ Tandingan sported a white pantsuit during her wedding with TJ Monterde. Her stylist, Myrrh Lao To, revealed why.
Speaking to Pep, Myrrh admitted that they did try to convince KZ to wear a wedding gown but the singer wanted a non-traditional get-up on her special day. Also, she wanted to be really comfortable with what she wears.
“KZ isn’t a fan of wearing dresses and she made it clear that for her wedding day, she wanted to be able to move around and be comfortable in her outfit,” KZ Tandingan’s stylist said.
Based on the report, the all-white pantsuit that KZ wore on her wedding with TJ was designed by Light Shine White. She wore a “sky-high platform shoes” from Giuseppe Zanotti on her wedding.
“Every fitting day I would get emotional. Creating the groom’s look also made it even dearer,” Myrrh said.
