Paolo Contis talked about the gag show âBubble Gangâ
Kapuso actor-comedian Paolo Contis shared how he feels as he is the new concept creator of the longest-running gag show Bubble Gang.
Paolo has been in the showbiz industry since his childhood. Aside from his dramatic series and movie, he is also known as one of the prominent comedians in his generation.
For several years, he has been part of the Kapuso gag show wherein Michael V. is the creative creator. Based on the article from Bandera, Paolo shared that comedy has become an important factor amid the pandemic.
He also said that over the years, the show has evolved when it comes to its mission and vision as the country is facing this crisis. Paolo also expressed gratitude to Bitoy for allowing him to be the new concept creator of the the gag show.
âSiyempre, weâre still taking his lead, ika nga. Ang nasa utak namin âwhat would Bitoy do?â Feeling lang niya ako siguro kasi ako talaga âyung maboka eh,â he added.
Paolo Contis also said that it is their responsibility to the public, especially that people need to laugh amid this trying time.
âSaka feeling naman namin responsibilidad namin âyun sa publiko, especially now that people need a laugh. Feeling namin ngayon kami kailangan lalo ng public, itong âBubble Gang,ââ he said.
Meanwhile, Paolo once again earned the admiration of many due to his acting in the Kapuso mini-series I Can See You: The Promise. The audience commended him on how he delivered the dramatic scenes.
Particularly, the viewers cited his performance in the scene wherein he was about to lose his sanity after his wife died, the role played by Yasmien Kurdi.
