Palawan and Boracay have secured a spot in the “most beautiful places in the world” based on the list of Big Seven Travel.
According to the list of the travel website, Palawan places eight of the most beautiful places over its pristine islands.
“Palawan is a fantastic triple threat of diverse wildlife, pristine landscapes, and subterranean marvels. Because of its stretch across the Sulu and South China seas, it boasts a huge variety of nature from steep limestone cliffs to jawdropping coves and unbelievable beaches,” Big Seven Travel in a statement.
Boracay, on the other hand, earned the 18th spot, which is also not surprising after all it is one of the favorite destinations of not only Filipino tourists but also foreigners.
“Tranquil beaches, casual nightlife, and lush tropical scenery make it easy to see why. The peaceful island also boasts a unique food scene and has managed to maintain its unique Aklanon culture,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, the Department of Tourism through Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat gave a message on the inclusion of Palawan and Boracay in the said list of the most beautiful places in the world.
“The DOT is optimistic that the inclusion in this prestigious list will inspire more people to regain the confidence to travel, helping the Philippines’ tourism industry to recover after this challenging period,” she said.
