Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) Chairperson Liza Diño-Seguerra is currently being rumored to run for senator in the 2022 election.
This was after Ice Seguerra’s 39-year-old wife has been noticed of impressing people thru her actions.
But the FDCP chief immediately denied the rumors.
According to her, she has no plans to leave the agency and she’s focused on the various projects of FDCP which aims to help the movie industry.
According to bandera.inquirer.net, FDCP has 16 upcoming major activities this year including the opening of SineSandaan, Film Industry Conference and Workshop Series Online 2020 in cooperation with Filmlab and Full Circle Lab.
Aside from that, FDCP will also hold Special Master Class Series and CreatePHFilms where FDCP will provide cash from P200,000 to P5 million for various types of filmmaking that are short of budget.
Despite the pandemic, the 4th Philippine Film Festival (PPP) will continue this coming October, although it can be watched online first because the cinemas are still closed.
