Is Ivana Alawi no longer playing the lead role in Ang Lihim ni Ligaya?
Erich Gonzales is currently being rumored to replace Ivana Alawi in the latter’s upcoming teleserye, “Ang Lihim ni Ligaya.”
It was in January 2020 when the Kapamilya Network launched the teleserye which marked as Ivana Alawi’s first title role in a television series.
Kit Thompson has been announced as her leading man at the time.
Agot Isidro, Janice de Belen, Michael de Mesa, Christian Vazquez, Michelle Vito, Mica Javier, and to name a few will also join the cast of Ang Lihim ni Ligaya.
It was originally scheduled to air in April 2020 as a pre-primetime block on ABS-CBN.

But due to community quarantine and subsequent cancellation of the ABS-CBN franchise, it was postponed.
When asked last September 8 via a YouTube Q&A Mukbang vlog about the status of her teleserye, Ivana Alawi said:
“Actually, guys, sa ngayon, hindi talaga ako lumalabas. Takot na takot ako lumabas kasi takot ako sa COVID,”
“Hindi ko iri-risk na magtrabaho ako, mag-taping ako, mag-shooting, ‘tapos may mangyari kay Mona. Iyon talaga, at saka si Mama,” she said citing her younger sister Mona Alawi who’s diabetic.
Meanwhile, according to an article courtesy of Abante Tonite, Janice de Belen and Agot are set to star in a teleserye top-billed by Erich Gonzales.
However, based on the report of PEP.ph, the title of the project was not mentioned but netizens were quick to comment that it could be “Ang Lihim ni Ligaya.”
Dreamscape Entertainment, the producer of Ang Lihim ni Ligaya is yet to issue any statement to confirm the report.
