Ivana Alawi: “Reject lagi sa auditions”
Kapamilya star Ivana Alawi has revealed something before she entered the world of show business or showbiz.
In an interview via online show, “I Feel U,” the 23-year-old actress shared how she started in showbiz and later on made a name for herself.
“Ang dami, ang dami pinuntahan na auditions, kasi si Mama very supportive siya, kapag may gusto ka support ka niya basta nasa tama, so every time may audition, may casting pupuntahan namin, ako ‘yung napapagod kasi lagi akong reject,” she said.
“Reject lagi sa auditions, lalo na ‘yung mga commercials, kasi hindi nila type ‘yung face ko e siguro may specific silang hinahanap e, hindi ako nag fit sa kahit saan,” she added.
Ivana Alawi started her showbiz career by accepting minimal roles and small projects but unfortunately, she gave up. She quit showbiz to return to her studies.
According to her statement via entertainment website, Push, her mom was among those who persevered in order for her to return to the limelight.
Ivana Alawi jumpstarts her career after starring in notable shows such as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano on ABS-CBN wherein she has been noted for being a daring actress.
At present, she’s busy preparing for her first-ever lead role in a TV series, “Ang Lihim ni Ligaya.”
She’s also busy in her vlogs and as of posting, she has already 7.3 million subscribers on YouTube.
