Alex Gonzaga shared how she dealt with the past issue with Mommy Pinty
Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga admitted that she has past “tampo” with Mommy Pinty due to her sister Toni Gonzaga.
It is a known fact that Toni started in show business prior to her younger sister. In the recent vlog of Alex, she shared that at that time when Toni was already into stardom, their mother won’t always listen to her stories.
Alex said that she was told that her stories were “walang kwenta” but this is not the same case with Toni. Because of that, Alex said that she had “tampo” Mommy Pinty as she felt that she was not loved. However, there is one thing that she realized now.
“Dati iniisip ko, na parang hindi ko makukuha ‘yung pagtingin nila katulad ng pagtingin nila sa ate pero ngayon, na-realize ko, parang mas mahal pa nila ako kasi never nilang ginawa sa ate ‘yung lumabas sa vlog,” Alex Gonzaga shared.

She added that her parents had a hard time to appear on Toni’s showbiz stints, even in interviews, but her parents would gladly join her vlogs.
“Nun’g nagsimula ‘yung vlog ko, parang na-realize ko na ang kailangan ko lang pala ‘yung tingin kong tao na parang kakumpetensya ko or parang ‘ay naku, papatunayan ko sa inyo na iba ‘yung akin.’ Sila pala ang kasama ko para ma-achieve ‘yun,” the actress-vlogger shared.
She also shared that back then, she was taking to her fiance Mikee Morada when Mommy Pinty called her asking what she prefers to do when it comes to her vlog. Before, Alex said that she felt she was being compared to her older sister.
“‘Ano ka ba last year umiiyak ka sa’kin, sabi mo gusto mo ma-appreciate ka ng parents mo.’ Kasi dati ang mommy ko, ‘O ganto yun sa ate mo dati, so gusto mo ba yun ganto?’ Laging may comparison,” Alex Gonzaga shared.
However, when it comes to her vlogs, the domain she mastered, her parents are allowing her to do what she wants.
