Vlogger Emman Nimedez on Sunday died at the age of 21. The news about his passing was confirmed by his girlfriend Peachy Santos.
In a report on GMA News Online, Emman died due to acute myeloid leukemia. Although it was previously reported that he was rushed to the hospital due to kidney failure and blood complications.
According to cancer.gov, acute myeloid leukemia was a “cancer of the blood and bone marrow”, adding that it was a type of cancer that was getting worse quickly if not treated as early as possible.

In a post on Emman’s page on Sunday, Peachy said that Emman died at 1:00 in the morning, adding that he was with his family at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City during the time of his passing.
Peachy also said that Emman’s family was thankful to everyone who offered prayers and showed support for him. She added that they hoped that the public would respect Nimedez family’s privacy to mourn the passing of Emman.
Moreover, Peachy said that the funeral details would be announced in the coming days.
Prior to Emman’s passing, he released his track “Uuwian” which garnered over 1.1 million views on YouTube as of this writing.
