Motorcycle barrier is no longer required
The motorcycle barrier is no longer required for riders living in the same house in areas under the general community quarantine (GCQ) according to Joint Task Force COVID Shield.
The national task force for COVID-19 said that starting Wednesday, August 19, motorcycle barriers are no longer needed.
However, riders not living under the same house are not exempted. They are still required to have a barrier designed by Angkas.
JTF is also reminding the public especially riders and back-riders to wear a facemask and a full-face helmet when traveling.
Based on the report of CNN Philippines, the local government units under the modified general community quarantine have the option of whether to implement or not the new protocol depending on their situation.
