Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez shared what she has noticed after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in 2019.
PCOS is a hormonal disorder among women where they “produce higher-than-normal amounts of male hormones,” according to healthline.com.
The usual symptoms of this disorder include unusual growth of body hair, acne, weight gain, and to name a few.
But in Winwyn Marquez’s case, she has suffered acne breakouts, mood swings, and one of the remarkable changes that she noticed is her unusual weight increase.
“I had a hard time adjusting sa pag-change ng body ko since i gained a few pounds, bloated na uncomfortable minsan, mood swings, it really depends,” she said

“You just have to find the right balance…It’s hard to adjust but with the help naman of people, eventually, you can fight it,” she added.
Winwyn Marquez or Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez in real life rose to fame when she was crowned as the Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 which took place in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on 4 November 2017.
The Kapuso Network mainstay also starred in the defunct series of GMA-7 including Daddy’s Gurl, Dahil sa Pag-ibig and Glow up.
