Winwyn Marquez fires back at body-shamer.
Kapuso star Winwyn Marquez slammed a basher who criticized her looks on the image-sharing site, Instagram, telling her “masyadong amazona.”
The netizen is clearly referring to the Amazona- of which according to Greek Mythology, is a country of women who tend to become warriors. This is where “Wonder Woman” came from.
While the photo of gorgeous Winwyn Marquez continues to gain admiration from the netizens, a basher with Instagram name kisha.isnain couldn’t help but criticize the actress.
“Hindi [ko] bet ang braso mo girl. Masyadong amozana ang peg. Dapat barbie arms lang para perfect,” the netizen told the actress.
The statement prodded Winwyn Marquez to reply: “Amazona not ‘amozana.’ Please Google Wonder Woman. Try mo para you know.”
“Basta choice mo ‘yan na maselya ang arms mo… Well, good. It’s your choice.,” the netizen added.
Their conversation continued with the netizen stressing that she prefers the “Reyna Americana” physique of the latter.
But she fired back noting that she is not affected with the netizen’s statement. She even thanked the latter for the “unsolicited advice.”
According to gmanetwork.com, this is not the first time that Winwyn Marquez was criticized by a netizen over her looks.
Recently, she lambasted a netizen who body-shamed her by telling the troll: “Fat and thin are not the only words to describe someone. Try adding fit, strong, and healthy to your vocabulary.”
Meanwhile, Winwyn Marquez or Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez in real life rose to fame when she was crowned as the Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 which took place in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on 4 November 2017.
The Kapuso Network mainstay also starred in the defunct series of GMA-7 including Daddy’s Gurl, Dahil sa Pag-ibig and Glow up.
