In a report on ABS-CBN News, he told reporters in a text message that his confirmatory tests showed that he no longer has “live RNA cells of COVID-19”.

He added that what the Infectious Disease Experts had told them was that the swab test result that was released yesterday possibly detected “remnants of dead virus cells” which was a “common occurrence” with patients who recovered from COVID-19.

Moreover, he noted that studies from Asia, Europe, and the United States have shown that recovered patients with antibodies were “no longer infectious” if COVID-19 cells were discovered in their system.
