Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta questioned again about the original and clear land title of the now-defunct TV network, ABS-CBN.
Part of Deputy Speaker Marcoleta’s Facebook post on July 23, Thursday night: “… why don’t we discuss extensively about ABS-CBN’s fake land title / s which is the subject of the Zoom conversation and try defending it as hard as you can?”
“The property, as discussed in the video conference, should be returned rightfully to the government if ABS-CBN is unable to present an original, clean title as proof of its ownership,” he added.
“It is as clear and simple as that,” he stressed.

Marcoleta is referring to the Zoom meeting held on July 17, Friday, where Deputy Majority Leader Jesus Crispin Remulla, AnaKalusugan Party-list Representative Mike Defensor, and former ABS-CBN cameraman Journalie Payonan discussed the following steps against ABS-CBN after Congress kills the TV network franchise.
Deputy Speaker Marcoleta clarified that the Zoom meeting is a public video conference.
Meanwhile, Gorgy Rula of PEP.ph claimed that he was able to get information about the land where ABS-CBN is situated but he refused to confirm it.
According to him, the land title might be held by Malacañang and it’s somehow difficult to retrieve it since some people behind it already passed away.

ABS-CBN can simply request for a certified true copy of the titles in question with the Land Registration Authority. The best evidence is the document itself, not Gorgy Rula’s crystal ball.
