Broadcast journalist Karen Davila fired back at a basher who commented on her post saying: “I dont like watching this newscaster… i dont like her.”

Earlier, the 49-year-old host took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein she shared a snippet of her interview with Deputy Speaker Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte Jr. who suggested selling the ABS-CBN Corporation.

According to him, if Lopez family really care for its over 11,000 employees who lost their job following its franchise denial last July 10, they just have to sell the network.

“My suggestion to the Lopez family, they just sell the corporation, and if they really love the 11,000 employees or more and if they really want to serve the Filipino people, ibenta na lang nila ‘yung kumpanya,” he said.

While his statement earns the ire of netizens, a basher personally attacked Karen Davila and told her: “I dont like watching this newscaster… i dont like her.”

But Karen Davila fired back by commenting: “You don’t like me but you’re following me? Thank you.”

Many Instagram users then engaged in their interaction with some supporting the veteran journalist.

Karen Davila was among the 11,000 workers of Kapamilya Network who have lost their jobs following the franchise denial of the country’s largest broadcasting network, ABS-CBN last July 10.

  1. They are thinking in tge future that abs cbn will aired again after Duterte will be out of the government and I hope they will not bought the next President just to open again and will attack Duterte for being unable to defend and answer back the attacks of the networks?
