A 24-year-old guy named John Santos, who claims to be the son of actor John Regala, said that he is willing to undergo a DNA test to prove that he’s a child of the actor.
John Santos was fifteen years old when he found out that his biological father is actor John Regala.
Since then, the young man from Tanauan, Batangas, has sought to get to know his father in person.
His mother named Vilma, now 49, used to work as an entertainer in Japan, and it was there when she and John Regala met in 1994.
When Vilma got pregnant, John allegedly didn’t want to recognize John Santos as his son because according to him, she’s an “entertainer” and he’s not sure he was the father.
Young John was seven years old when Vilma took him home to Batangas from Tokyo. Vilma entrusted her son to her mom Victoria.
John was born on August 27, 1995. Like his father, he’s also a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo.
He now works as a truck driver from Monday to Saturday.
John told Cabinet Files via PEP.ph that he was fifteen years old when his mother said that John Regala was his father.
But since he was still a minor, John did not succeed in his plan to find and visit John Regala, 55.
The young John shared that he feels a leap of blood every time he watches the actor on television and movies. But John also admitted that he has resentment with his father.
Meanwhile, John Santos is not affected by the comments on social media that he only wants to meet John Regala because of the financial help his father receives, such as the P100,000 that Raffy Tulfo will provide.

As proof that they have been looking for John Regala for a long time, John sent screenshots of his grandma Victoria’s Facebook post in August 2016, and his Father’s Day greeting to his estranged dad in June 2020.
