Two Buffalo police officers had been ‘suspended’ after pushing an old man.

In his statement, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said that he was “deeply disturbed” as he watched the said video, adding that he directed a police commissioner to conduct an immediate investigation about the said incident.

Brown also said that a 75-year-old man was in “stable but serious” condition at the Educational Credit Management Corporation or ECMC. He also said that the police officers who were involved in the said incident have been “suspended without pay”.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo tweeted that the said incident was “wholly unjustified and utterly disgraceful”, adding that he already had spoken with Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown about the said incident.

Cuomo also said that he and Brown agreed that two Buffalo police officers who were involved in the said incident “should be immediately suspended pending a formal investigation”, adding that police officers should “enforce” and “not abuse” the law.

The suspension of two Buffalo police officers came after the now-viral video circulated on social media showing that the police officers shoved an elderly man to the ground during a peaceful protest.
