ABS-CBN announced that some of its TV shows will return via satellite TV starting June 13.
ABS-CBN announced that some of its well-loved television shows will return and will be shown via Kapamilya Channel which will be available on satellite TV and cable.
The said announcement came a month after the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) issued a Cease and Desist Order to ABS-CBN Corporation. Angel Locsin, Coco Martin, Liza Soberano, and other celebrities from the said network aired their sentiments on social media seeking to allow the broadcast network to renew its franchise.
In its announcement, ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Channel will be available on G Sat, Cablelink, SKY, and other member-cable operators of PCTA or the Philippine Cable Television Association in the Philippines.
ABS-CBN said that satellite and cable channels that would carry the Kapamilya Channel were owned and operated by other companies and were not covered by NTC’s Cease and Desist Order that was issued to the network.
Also in its announcement, ABS-CBN enumerated 10 shows that will be shown on Kapamilya Channel via satellite TV and cable. Here are the following:
- FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
- A Soldier’s Heart
- Love Thy Woman
- Magandang Buhay
