Liza Soberano Posts Lengthy Message Over Controversial ABS-CBN Franchise
LIZA SOBERANO – The Kapamilya actress broke her silence on the issue surrounding the franchise of the ABS-CBN network.
One of the top talks on the surface now is the franchise of the ABS-CBN network. The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has previously released a Cease And Desist Order against the network.
The ABS-CBN has aired for decades already. Upon receiving the order of the NTC, the network’s broadcasting category immediately went off-air.
Undeniably, the public was divided regarding the issue. Some stressed that the law must be implemented while others are concerned about the employees who might lose their jobs.
Previously, the ABS-CBN network said that it may release the names of its employees that will be terminated soon as the company faces big losses daily. It stressed that it wanted to protect its staff but there are limits to the capacity of the company.
Several Kapamilya and even Kapuso celebrities have spoken on the issue surrounding the franchise of ABS-CBN. Recently, actress Liza Soberano broke her silence on the issue.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the loveteam partner and girlfriend of Enrique Gil stressed that everyone has different reaction over the issue but it is not the time to fight over it. She stated that each has his or her own beliefs and principles in life.
According to the Kapamilya actress, when you look at what is happening, pride is taking the win. She stressed that we are already forgetting how to be good people which is truly important amid this crisis.
Liza Soberano further stated that unity is the key and we can help heal the world by humbling down and giving our attention on what needs to be solved.
Liza asked the authorities to allow the ABS-CBN to renew its franchise. The actress is after the sake of the employees and everyone who can be given by the network a chance in case its franchise will be renewed. Here’s her Instagram post:
