A Facebook user named Melvering Utoking has shared the post of a netizen named Mhyk Jumayao offering his driving services in exchange of rice and groceries. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Mhyk Jumayao offers his services in exchange for basic commodities because his family is already suffering from extreme poverty. He posted his plead on the “Bacolod Barter Community” Facebook page.
According to Utoking, around 200 netizens commented “UP” on Jumayao’s post. None of them offered a help to the poor netizen. However, a social media user named Bon Bon commented and gave a decent offer.
Bon Bon offered to give 25 kilograms of rice for free and not expecting any items in return. Melvering lauded the generous guy for helping his fellow countrymen who are in need.
The kind-hearted netizen proved that the faith in humanity still exists and the spirit of ‘Bayanihan’ in the Philippines was still alive.
