Elderly Woman to President Duterte: “May God had mercy on your soul”
ABS-CBN SHUTDOWN – An elderly woman lambasted President Rodrigo Duterte over the ABS-CBN shutdown and called him as ‘k!ller of democracy’.
Since last week, the Kapamilya network becomes the headlines and the most trending topics in various news outlets and social media pages after it goes off air. The National Telecommunications Commission ordered the cease and desist order against the company after its franchise expired on May 4, 2020.
Numerous celebrities and other personalities have already expressed their reactions regarding the network’s closure. Former employees of the giant media company also made shocking revelations about the network.
The Facebook page “Trending 101” has shared the video footage of an elderly woman criticizing President Duterte over the suspension of the ABS-CBN’s broadcast operation. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the old lady described the decision of the government to shutdown the Kapamilya network as the start of the ‘Death of Democracy’. She also called Mr. Duterte as ‘k!ller of democracy’ by silencing the press.
The unnamed lady continues to release distasteful remarks against the Philippine President together with his officials.
