Family of Pinay Nurse in United Kingdom Seeks Prayers As She Battles Against COVID-19 Infection
PINAY NURSE – The family of a Filipina nurse in United Kingdom is seeking for prayers for her after she contracted COVID-19.
In the Philippines, more than 1,000 healthcare personnel were infected by coronavirus or COVID-19. More than half of this number are doctors and nurses who contracted the disease while performing their duties.
Doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff are the frontliners in this battle against coronavirus. Sadly, the world is fighting an invisible enemy and many lives are greatly at risk.
Not only in PH but there are as well Filipino doctors and nurses who contracted coronavirus abroad. They got the disease while trying to save people from this deadly pandemic.
Based on a viral post of “razrblade romanz”, one of the Filipino medical professionals abroad who contracted COVID-19 is Ninfa Torres, a Pinay nurse in the United Kingdom. Her family is seeking prayers for her.
According to the Facebook post, the said Filipina nurse is from Silay City in the province of Negros Occidental. Netizens sent their prayers for her fast recovery.
May God heal you, Ninfa, and all the people infected with coronavirus. Lord, please grant extra protection to our dear frontliners in this fight against COVID-19.
