Update on the Global Coronavirus Cases Total Count Amid the Pandemic

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS CASES – The total count of the confirmed coronavirus cases across the globe is nearly 2.5 million now.

More than 200 countries across the globe now are fighting against a common enemy – the coronavirus or the COVID-19. The said disease has lodged an outbreak in several nations.

The coronavirus was first recorded in China last December 2019. The authorities locked down Wuhan City, the epicenter of the disease in China, for more than two (2) months.

The travel restrictions in Wuhan have already been lifted. China is now recovering from the impacts of the outbreak while several other nations are struggling now.

Currently, the United States is the country with the most number of confirmed coronavirus cases. Based on a global tally of Worldometer, there is now a total of 763,510 cases of coronavirus confirmed in U.S.

With regards to the COVID-19 deaths, U.S. also tops the tally. More than 40,000 have died in the American country due to the disease while nearly 80,000 have recovered.

Based on the tally, the global coronavirus cases total count now is nearly 2.5 million – at 2,404,749. The digit came after nearly 74,000 new cases were confirmed in the different countries across the globe.

There are 4,872 new deaths due to COVID-19 recorded in the different nations. Based on the tally, it brings the total death toll to 164,919.
