Google, through its Google Doodle, on Wednesday was celebrating the 121st birthday of Dame Jean Macnamara, an Australian doctor and medical scientist.
This, as Annie Jean Macnamara (also known as Dame Jean Macnamara) was born at Beechworth in Victoria, Australia, on April 1, 1899. She was known for developing a successful polio vaccine last 1955.
In celebration for her 121st birthday, Thomas Campi, a Sydney-based artist, made his doodle for Google. According to Thomas Campi, his intention in making this Doodle was “giving hope to people” as well as having “passion for research” as he made his Magritte-ish surrealism art.
