More than 700 Coronavirus Deaths Recorded in Spain in Just 24 Hours
SPAIN – Over 700 deaths due to the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 were recorded in the country in just 24 hours.
The coronavirus or COVID-19 has posed a huge challenge globally. While some countries are on tight guards to prevent anyone infected from entering their borders, other countries are fighting a huge battle to contain its spread.
The Philippine, the United States, Italy, and Canada are among the nations with confirmed cases of coronavirus. Globally, the said disease has infected over half a million people.
Spain is also hit by coronavirus. Based on the tally of Worldometer, the country recently recorded 718 deaths due to COVID-19 in just 24 hours.
Furthermore, there is a total of 8,271 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus. It brings the total to 57,786. Based on the tally, the coronavirus death toll is 4,365.
Currently, the United States is the country with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. In U.S., there are now over 83,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
With regards to the country with the highest death toll due to coronavirus, it is Italy. The nation is still under a total lockdown now to curb the spread of the disease.
