Voice actor Hiroshi Masuoka died at the age of 83.

Hiroshi Masuoka, a voice actor of various Japanese anime series, died at the age of 83. He died due to rectal cancer on March 21, 2020.

As reported by Man Tan Web, Masuoka’s family and relatives held a private wake and funeral, adding that the memorial service for his fans won’t be held in public as requested by Masuoka.

Masuoka was known for voicing characters from various Japanese anime series ⁠— such as Master Roshi in Dragon Ball GT, Jam Ojisan in Anpanman, and second Masuo voice actor in Sazae-san, among others.
