A netizen has expressed his disappointment after his vehicle reportedly suffered dents and scratches due to wattah festival in San Juan City.
The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared the sentiments of a netizen whose vehicle suffered from dents and scratches due to the wattah-wattah festival in San Juan City. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The netizen expressed his fury and frustration towards the residents of San Juan City for showing a disrespectful and inappropriate act during the wattah-wattah festival. The pasaway residents reportedly forced to open his car just to splash water.
The latter expressed his dismay because the local government unit and the police authorities did not take any actions to control the crowd. He is hoping that the long-time tradition in San Juan City will come to an end for causing inconvenience along the road.

“Hi Visor. Labas ko lang inis at galit ko. Tungkol ito sa fiesta dyan sa San Juan City. Nasira car ko dahil sa mga nagpa-party-party dyan. Tinungtungan, nagpipilit buksan yung pinto para lang makapambasa ng tubig. Wala man lang police or tanod na nagbabantay para sa mga abusadong mga yan. Sana matigil na yang tradisyon nila na yan, kasi maraming mga inosenteng dumaan. Mga papasok sa trabaho ang napeperwisyo nila.”

Wattah Wattah Festival or Basaan Festival is the feast of St. John the Baptist, patron saint of San Juan, Metro Manila, and of many other communities throughout the Philippines, held every 24 June.
People usually line up the streets and generously douse passersby or unsuspecting commuters and visitors with water.
