Dawn Chang wasn’t paid to support the candidacy of Robredo
DAWN CHANG – The Kapamilya dancer took to social media wherein she declared that she was not paid to support Vice President Leni Robredo.
It was on Friday, March 4 when her team held a campaign rally in General Trias, Cavite.
The venue was covered by their massive supporters known as Kakampinks.
But according to Rep. Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla, some Caviteños who attended their grand rally in Cavite were paid.
Aside from that, he also claimed that there were activists and members of the National Democratic Front (NDF) who participated in the said gathering.
His claims earned the ire of netizens especially the supporters of VP Robredo.
Among those who reacted to Remulla’s statement is no less than former GirlTrends member, Dawn Chang.
In her tweet, she denied that she was paid to support the candidacy of VP Robredo.
“Minsan kung sino pang nasa mataas na posisyon, siya pa ang nangunguna sa paggawa ng mali. Anong magiging kinabukasan natin kung ganitong klaseng lider ang pipiliin natin,” she said.
“Huwag nyong insultuhin ang mga Pilipinong pinaglalaban na magkaroon ng gobyernong tapat lalo’t hindi kami bayad,” she added.
Meanwhile, Robredo is gearing up for the highest position in the government this coming May 9, 2022 election.
Together with her runningmate, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, they will go against the tandem of; former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Doc Willie Ong, Senator Manny Pacquiao and Buhay partylist representative, Lito Atienza as well as Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
