Official statement of Toni Gonzaga over end of her PBB hosting stint
TONI GONZAGA – The Kapamilya star has released an official statement the announcement that she will no longer host the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).
Toni started her showbiz career at the age of 13. It was in 1997 when she joined a singing competition called “Metropop Star Search” and won.
She later ventured into acting and has starred in numerous shows and movies.
She has been regarded as one of the leading hosts of the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy, Big Brother.
However, in an earlier report according to ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe, Toni will no longer host PBB. The latter allegedly endorsed actress Bianca Gonzales to be the main host of the said program.
Meanwhile, Toni Gonzaga took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein she posted her official statement following her departure from PBB.
Here’s the official statement of Toni:
Her post was accompanied by the caption: “Sending you all my love.”
It was then flooded with reactions and among those who commented is no less than her sister, Alex Gonzaga who wrote: “You’re a queen forever! nobody does it like you do sissszzz.”
Apparently, it is not yet known whether Toni was fired or just resigned from being the host.
Many netizens believe that the actress’ departure from PBB has something to do with her support for the UniTeam of former Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
Toni is one of the avid supporters of the BBM-Sara tandem. In fact, she was the host during their proclamation rally held in Philippine Arena.
