Mama Wilma of Criza Taa passes away
CRIZA TAA – The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate mourned the passing of her grandmother, Wilma Obara.
On Thursday, November 4, Criza took to the image-sharing platform, Instagram to share with her followers that her Mama Wilma has passed away.
It was accompanied by a photo and video of them.
However, the 17-year-old Kapamilya talent did not divulge the reason why her grandmother died.
“Today my biggest fear happened. I know you’re with God and you may rest now.I know you’re always with me and this is never a goodbye. Mahal na mahal kita mama, ‘Til we meet again,” she wrote as the caption on her post.
During her interview via Tonight With Boy Abunda (TWBA) in December 2018, she could not help but get emotional when asked by Boy Abunda what is her greatest fear in life.
Criza grew up under the care of her Mama Wilma since she was only one year old.
Mama Wilma stood as her mother and father for 16 years. She was not able to meet her dad ever since.
According to a report of ABS-CBN Entertainment, the mother of Criza was forced to leave her to Mama Wilma to give her a good life.
After her PBB stint, Criza Taa ventured into showbiz.
She rose to fame via her roles in the Kapamilya series, Kadenang Ginto (2019) and He’s Into Her (2020).
Kadenang Ginto is a debunk series starring the Gold Squad members Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz.
On the other hand, He’s Into Her is a series adaptation of the hit novel with the same name starring Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan.
