ROBERT JAWORSKI – The family of the former senator and PBA Living Legend gave an update about his health condition after his battle with Pneumonia.

It was just last year when the basketball star-turned-politician was hospitalized due to pneumonia.

Recently, his family issued a statement via social networking site, Facebook wherein they gave an update about his pressing condition.

“Despite this, he is making good progress and is slowly moving forward,” the family said.

However, Jaworski had difficulty in regaining his “strength, weight, and normal well-being” due to a previously discovered blood abnormality.

The legendary basketball player-coach celebrated his 75th birthday last March 8.

Robert Vincent Salazar Jaworski is a former professional basketball player, head coach, and politician who served as a Senator of the Philippines from 1998 to 2004.

He played 23 seasons in the Philippine Basketball Association or PBA

He is widely regarded as one of the best and most popular PBA players of all-time.

He even became part of the PBA’s 40 Greatest Players and was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 2005.
