Remember P/Cpt. Mark Vargas from FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano? He is now a delivery rider
LESTER LLANSANG – A former FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor is now a delivery rider.
The Kapamilya actor starred in the top-rating ABS-CBN series as P/Cpt. Mark Vargas: A friend of Cardo in the police force. Unfortunately, he bid farewell on the show.
Lester started his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor in the 1999 film Saranggola which earned him the Best Child Actor Award in FAMAS. In 2012 Llansang starred in the horror movie Shake, Rattle and Roll Fourteen: The Invasion.
In 2015, he was given a big break after being part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano top-billed by Coco Martin. He became part of it for a long time.
After exiting Ang Probinsyano, he found himself jobless until he decided to become a delivery rider. In an interview with Ogie Diaz, he shared the challenges he had to endure as a Lalamove rider.
“Napanghinaan ako ng loob kasi hindi pala ganun kadali ‘yung trabaho ng rider,” he said.

Meanwhile, Lester also admitted that he suffered from depression as to what happened with his career.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is based on the 1997 film of the same name starring Fernando Poe Jr. It is top-billed by Coco Martin which first aired on September 28, 2015.
It has become the longest-running drama series on Philippine television with more than 1,300 episodes aired as of 2021.
Ang Probinsyano also airs online via Kapamilya Online Live on Facebook and YouTube as well as worldwide through The Filipino Channel and Netflix.
