Michael V: “Alam namin na ang COVID vaccine ay hindi perpekto, pero epektibo.”
MICHAEL V – The Kapuso TV host-comedian believes that every Filipino has the right to either receive or refuse vaccine against COVID-19.
Beethoven Michael Del Valle Bunagan who is also known as Michael V. and “Bitoy” stars in the GMA Network show Bubble Gang, and in his own TV show Pepito Manaloto.
He is popular as well for his literal “translations” and parodies of popular Filipino and foreign songs
The Kapuso comedian has a YouTube channel named Michael V. #BitoyStory, which has reached more than 1.31 million subscribers as of July 2021.
In Bitoy’s new vlog on YouTube, he reminded the public about vaccination while remembering his experience when he was fighting the deadly virus.
The comedian and director flaunted his 100% support for the government’s vaccination drive. He has been fully vaccinated (Oxford-AstraZeneca) as well as his family.
He said: “Until now marami pa rin ang hindi naniniwala sa vaccine.
He noted that although the vaccine against coronavirus is not perfect, yet it is effective.
Michael V also mentioned the global vaccine action plan of the World Health Organization wherein it is targeting to vaccinate 80 percent of the world population.
He also gave a message to those who are hesitant to get vaccinated but are fond of traveling, partying and to name a few.
Michael V is one of the many celebrities vaccinated against COVID-19.
Among those who are fully vaccinated are Lea Salonga, Alex Gonzaga, Ryan Agoncillo, Judy Ann Santos and to name a few.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 vaccination has rolled out across the country to combat the rapid increase of COVID-19.
Among those who were on the priority list of the COVID-19 vaccination program are medical frontliners, persons with comorbidities, and senior citizens.
Pfizer, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V are some of the vaccines available in the country.
As of today, more than 9 million people have already been vaccinated based on the data retrieved by “Our World in Data.”
