“Inday” singer TJ Monterde recently opened up about baby plans with his wife KZ Tandingan.
TJ said that he had learned a lot from KZ after getting married to her last year, especially when it comes to their passion for music. According to him, he idolized KZ as an artist before he met her and she gave him a lot of help especially now that they’re in the same house.
With the simultaneous release of their tracks “Inday” and “Dodong” this month, TJ said that the Bisaya compositions were very personal to him and his wife.
He shared that KZ’s “Dodong” served as a voice note to him as he sometimes played her voice note when he can’t sleep because the lyrics were very specific to him and the way she sang and was written as a lullaby was very specific to him as well.
For him, “Dodong” was his favorite and he’s happy that the one he had been listening to on the voice note over the past two years was on different music streaming platforms.

He also revealed what kind of adjustments he and KZ had to make after marriage. According to him, such simple things like those things we didn’t discover in each other made them appreciated each other more.
Even after being together for 7 years, he shared that plans to grow their own family will have to wait a while.
“Ang daming nagtatanong niyan. Kahit sa TikTok araw-araw nakukuha yung question na yan. Sa ngayon wala pa kasi sabi ko nga mag-a-anniversary kami this month pero hindi pa namin totally na-e-experience talaga kasi yung mag-ta-travel na kaming dalawa lang kasi kinasal kami sa pandemic so sa ngayon yung priority namin kami muna tapos kung maaari makapag-travel muna kami right after pag puwede na,” TJ said.
