Andrea del Rosario: “Pinapatawag ako sa opisina nun because nasa Palibhasa Lalake ako nun.”
Andrea del Rosario admitted that she was once reprimanded in her all-girls school during her early days in showbiz.
She was criticized because of her image in the defunct ABS-CBN sitcom Palibhasa Lalake in the ’90s.
She said: “Pinapatawag ako sa opisina nun because nasa Palibhasa Lalake ako nun.”
The stars of the popular sitcom are Richard Gomez, Joey Marquez, Anjo Yllana, Amy Perez, Cynthia Patag, and Gloria Romero. Also present were The Gwapings Jomari Yllana, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Eric Fructoso, and Jao Mapa.
In 1996, Andrea del Rosario became an additional cast member in the sitcom where she played the role of a saleswoman in a gotohan owned by Richard Gomez‘s character.
Andrea did not mention what exact episode her school questioned about her.
But she explained to the school’s admin that she could not leave the show because her income on the show was her only source to support her studies.
“Hahayaan niyo po ba na hindi ako magbayad ng tuition? Nagtatrabaho ako, e,” Andrea del Rosario said.
