Yusuf Mehdi, the Corporate Vice President, Modern Life, Search & Devices Group, at Microsoft, quoted a tweet by the official Windows Twitter account that said there will be a #MicrosoftEvent on June 24.
While the original tweet from Windows didn’t say what the launch was for, a short teaser video included hints at it being related to its operating system. However, it was Mr. Mehdi who revealed that the said event was for a new version of Windows.
I haven’t been this excited for a new version of @Windows since Windows 95! Although I don’t remember the box being that big. Make sure you save the date for June 24! #MicrosoftEvent https://t.co/j80Sh9rwos pic.twitter.com/XgfEI2qxqG

There were speculations that Microsoft’s new version will launch as “Windows 11” citing the teaser in the tweet above and the fact that the said event was scheduled for 11 AM ET.
