Myrtle Sarrosa on having chronic intestinal disease: “Dahil na rin siguro sa bad eating habits.”
MYRTLE SARROSA – The Kapuso actress and popular cosplayer revealed that she was diagnosed with chronic intestinal disease.
In the latest episode of Mars Pa More on GMA-7, she shared that it was early this year when she was found out she has an inflammatory bowel disease.
“Nagkaroon ako ng chronic disease sa intestine ko wherein na hirapan na ‘yung body ko mag-digest ng food dahil na rin siguro sa bad eating habits ko before,” she said.
Some of the symptoms that a person with the chronic intestinal disease may experience are diarrhea, rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, fatigue, and weight loss.
According to Myrtle Sarrosa, drinking too much coffee and eating meat are some of the probable reasons for her illness.
“Before I would wake up tapos the first thing that I would do is to grab a cup of coffee tapos ‘yun lang ‘yung iinumin ko,” she said.
“So dahil pala doon, tumataas ‘yung acid sa katawan ko and, aside from that, ang hilig-hilig ko pa before sa karne, na araw-araw lagi akong pork and meat,” she added.
As a result, Myrtle Sarrosa immediately changed her eating habits and avoided unhealthy foods: “Ngayon lahat ng kinakain ko na is fruits, vegetables. Nag-cut na rin ako ng meat.”
