DITO Telecommunity would commercially launch in Metro Manila “in a few weeks”.
Philippines’ third telco player DITO Telecommunity was aiming to commercially launch its services to Metro Manila “in a few weeks”.

This was bared by DITO chief administrative officer Adel Tamano during the group’s virtual launch on Monday, March 8, 2021.
DITO Telecommunity, backed by China Telecom and Davao’s Dennis Uy, initially rolled out its services to selected areas in Mindanao and the Visayas.
However, Tamano said that Filipinos residing in Metro Manila only have to wait a few more weeks before they could experience DITO.
