Pinay Journalist Doris Bigornia Says Her Brother Passes Away Due to COVID-19
Doris Bigornia announces that her beloved brother has already passed away a few days before Christmas due to COVID-19.
On Monday (December 21, 2020), the Filipina journalist Doris Agbayani Bigornia appeared as guest in “Magandang Buhay”. The TV personality revealed that her brother passed away due to the coronavirus disease a few weeks ago.
Bigornia said that her sibling died in Florida due to the deadly disease. Her brother and its child are both nurse in Nashville. Doris also expressed her grief because she can’t go to Florida due to stricter travel restrictions.
“Sa pamilya namin it’s doble difficult kasi we lost our brother to COVID just a few weeks ago, nasa Florida siya. Sa care home siya roon naka-assign. Nag-positive siya, nakuha niya ang sakit. ‘Yung anak niya, frontliner din nurse sa Nashville. Ang hirap dahil ang daming travel restrictions hindi makapunta sa kanya,” Bigornia said.
However the 54-year-old personality said that life must goes on no matter what happens. She is also sad that they would celebrate the Christmas Day without her sibling. Doris said that she learned how to be responsible after her brother’s death.
The Department of Health recorded around 460,000 cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines as of this writing.
